I couldn't find a record for her birth or a census prior to her marriage.  She was born in 1884 (after the 1880 census).  Her obit said she married John Roach in 1898 and one census says they married 1899.  So her first census is with John Roach.

Now that I have the proper name in...Family Search has 07 Jul 1898 in Irvin, Estill, Kentucky, USA listed for her marriage to John Roach.

Then they got divorced.  She stayed in Muncie, Indiana going by her middle name Ellen, and he went back to Butler, Ohio.

I don't know if Anna or the other unknown daughter married a Kennedy and had Rosella.  In Census data she states she had 4 children.  I only have the names of 2.  Her obit said she had 2 sons and 2 daughters.  No name though.

After John Cole died it appears she moves to Kokomo, IN and went back to her Roach last name or accidently reported it as such on this Census.  Or perhaps since she reported she was the mother of the head of the house, the census taker assumed her last name was Roach.
