I
know that William was living with his sister Isabell Kate Cook in 1880. I assume that she died between 1870 and
1880. Family lore found on ancestry.com
says that she and Thomas died when William was very young. I did find that Thomas died in October 1870.
I
scoured all of Family Search and Ancestry for a death or burial on her and
couldn't find anything. I searched
Newspaper Archives and the Clermont Genealogical society for any clues, with no
luck. I have forwarded the information I
do have to the Clermont County Genealogical and Historical Societies and
requested their assistance in finding more about her. Until that information becomes available,
this is it for Rachel HILL COOK. She is
the end of this chart for this line.
Next up on the ancestry trail is Ella Susan WILLIAMS COOK, mother of Edith Caroline COOK ROACH.
